Lauren was able to make contact with this amazing station the help of Jennifer Usher of the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay and her complete belief in what Lauren has been doing. As a result Lauren and a few of the Girl Scouts who helped to gather much needed supplies for Lauren's Luggage at a recent event held in Centreville delivered the Luggage to the members of this great station. The girls were treated to a ride in the fire truck and tour of the station. Margo a friend took all photos this evening and did an amazing job. We cannot express the gratitude to the members of this station, as they welcomed the girls, and were interested and amazed.

OCT-7-Lauren took a break while showing ABC 7 how Lauren's Luggage works from start to finish. She got to visit the Arnold Volunteer Fire Department and see Mr. Tom Best III, who was great, the entire department has been a huge help, from helping file the 501c charity papers to anything that they can help Lauren with

Here is some of the Luggage that is ready to go families tagged stacked up. Lauren has learned lots from working on this, that we are in need of lots and lots of water bottles. So along with working with the Red Cross we are making huge steps in helping families most in need.

Lauren was invited by Dr.Pellergin to come and speak at her BNI networking breakfast meeting meeting in Annapolis. She was given a chance to stand up and read her prepared speech, and explain her cause. Lauren did this in front of 30 local business members, and did it well. They were all more then amazing, helpful and supportive, many of them offering to help her in various ways. All of them offering her support and encouragement. One Member even taught her a new term "Pro Bono" and now her brother is working "pro bono" LoL we are looking forward to looking forward to the help. and a HUGE HUG to Dr. Pellergin for inviting Lauren

Mr. Kelly at FT Graphics in Pasadena Maryland stepped up and stood behind Lauren and Lauren's Luggage. Without saying a word, we came fully expecting to pay him for his excellent, prompt and professional services. We picked up 260 car decals for Lauren's Luggage Instead he had a surprise when Lauren got out of the car, when I asked to pay Mr. Kelly refused saying "that this was his way of helping" Lauren instantly started jumping up and down like a Mexican Jumping Bean thanking him. |

Lauren thought that best part was getting to get into the fire truck, and learning about the oxygen masks for pets. She thought it was neat to see how firefighters use a device that detects heat to find people in smoke. She thinks that firefighter AJ was nice and serious about his job, and that he knew EVERYTHING about his job and the trucks. Lauren felt that firefighter AJ truly understood just how devastating fires are on families. Lauren looks forward to continuing to have firefighter AJ on TEAM LAUREN'S LUGGAGE |
